Personality:

Belmont is incredibly carefree in nature, he loves nothing more then to have a good time. He will do incredibly dangerous things just because he feels they would be the most fun and tends to play with his opponents while fighting them. He even drags fights on sometimes just to get the most enjoyment out of them, dodging attacks instead of fighting back, playing jokes on the enemy like tapping their shoulder or smacking the back of their head lightly. He finds he is too strong for the most part so he needs to play with his opponents to get some fun out of it.

Belmont is rather unintelligent for the most part, he has a tendency to forget things rather quickly or be completely oblivious to stuff right in front of him. However, he has an unexpected intelligence when it comes to battle. He will come up with strategies for individual opponents he is going up against, and come up with them rather quickly as well, studying their movements and abilities rather then themselves, focusing on how he could understand it rather then defeat it, then defeating it is just a part of understanding it. He comes off as incredibly knowledgeable in battles while in actuality he can’t even understand basic things like romance or math.

Belmont is highly protective of those he cares about or those in need of help. He will almost never kill someone because he knows what it is like to lose someone, even if the person had bad intentions he could never bring himself to kill them unless it was absolutely needed. If his friends or people not involved are currently pleading for help or he notices they are in need of help, he will drop everything and help them, even ignoring his own fights to help them. If a person is not involved with the current situation, he does not want them being involved or harmed. He also wants to avoid his friends being harmed above everything else. He would not interrupt a friends fight however, he would only jump in if he was sure they were in trouble.

Belmont’s favorite thing is probably rum, he tries to drink about a barrel of rum every day and will most of the time not get drunk at all. He als seems to no longer get hangovers. He feels that having rum at a party turns it into an “ULTRA PARTY!” Which he will be incredibly happy for. He also has a habit of eating a lot when he drinks, most of the time meat but will also eat lots of sweets as well.

Belmont is a huge believer in freedom. Belmont was a highly successful pirate in his life and loved to be free more then anything, making friends, ignoring rules, doing what he wants, that’s all he really needed. After he retired from piracy he decided to join the next best thing, the Revolutionary army, where he could fight for others freedom, he felt no one deserved to follow the rules of the disgusting, hypocritical marines, so he does his best to ruin their plans and destroy their bases, while having fun in the process.
